The Real Dog Food Story
Terry is just one part of the Real Dog Food team, but his story is what got us to where we are today. So, here it is…
Once upon a time, there was a young man with a dog. That dog was scratching herself raw and eating herself to pieces. She was always in and out of the vet, costing a heap of money. One day, Terry’s friend asked him what he was feeding his dog. When Terry replied supermarket brand dog food, some dog roll and the odd bone, the friend instantly knew the problem.
He advised Terry to start feeding his pup a premium brand balanced food. As soon as Terry switched, his dog’s health problems went away. Almost overnight, there was an improvement in the itching and scratching. Like many people, Terry did not realise the importance of feeding a premium food.
They never looked back. In fact, on its premium food diet, that dog went on to live until it was 17 years old. Terry knew the other pups in the litter as they had all gone to various friends of his. All the other people who owned dogs from the same litter had seen them pass away beforehand. Most of them were gone by 10 to 12 years old. None of them were being fed premium food.
What’s In Your Food?
We aren’t going to lie, while it is essential to feed your dog a premium food, the costs soon start to add up. Premium brands that you buy from pet stores and vets are expensive.
And, do you really know what is in them?
